Stage 5 Science Quest

Every chapter of the Stage 5 course, turned into a game. Answer questions to earn XP, climb the levels, collect badges and keep your streak alive. The dashboard shows exactly which chapter needs another look.

Practice by chapter

Pick a chapter and work through it. Most questions mark themselves and pay out XP straight away. Written answers show the mark scheme so you (or a grown-up) can award the marks.

Scoring. Every question carries a mark allocation shown as [1], [2] and so on. Auto-marked questions award part marks where the question has parts (blanks, pairs, labels). Written answers are marked against numbered mark points, one mark per point. XP is 10 per mark earned, with streak bonuses.

Grade bands for a 40-mark paper: 34 to 40 secure and working beyond the stage · 28 to 33 meeting Stage 5 expectations · 22 to 27 approaching, revisit the flagged chapters · below 22 not yet secure. For a 15-mark chapter test the same bands are scaled.

Content follows the Cambridge Primary Science Stage 5 curriculum framework, organised to match the eleven chapters of the Marshall Cavendish Stage 5 textbook (2nd edition). Questions were written for this game, not copied from the textbook or past papers.
